✛ Are you able to provide music for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and the Reception?
Yes, I offer both Acoustic and DJ sets to cover all vibes. I can personally design the musical flow for your whole day or you can book me for specific parts of the day. I can tailor my sets to suit you, ensuring that I create the perfect musical experience that aligns with your vision.
✛ Do you have a songlist we could look at?
Yes a sample song list can be found here. If you have other requests, just let me know and I'll be happy to learn them.
✛ How long are your sets and how many songs per set?
My sets vary depending on the occasion and how they flow with your event or wedding. Typically, my acoustic sets last around 3 hours, including two 15-minute breaks. As for the DJ sets, I can perform until late into the night. Let's have a chat to determine the best timing for the music at your event or wedding.
✛ How far in advance do you need to know song choices?
Minimum 2 months for acoustic sets and 1 week for DJ set.
✛ What time can I expect you to arrive for set up?
I typically arrive 1-1.5 hours before the event (or ceremony in the case of a wedding) to set up and conduct a sound check. The specific time may vary based on certain factors during the planning process, as I want to ensure I have sufficient time to set up and be fully prepared.
✛ What equipment do you have and what will we need to hire?
I have a high-quality sound system, evening and dance floor lighting, as well as a wireless microphone available for speeches (or the celebrant during weddings). Additionally, I have a battery-powered speaker system for off-the-grid performances. Please note that for performances requiring us to travel by air (such as the lower North Island and South Island), I arrange to hire a sound system locally.
✛ Do you have pre-prepared songs or can we choose?
I have a song list which you are free to choose from or if you have a specific set of songs you'd like, let me know in advance and I'm happy to oblige.
✛ Do you have pre-prepared songs or can we choose?
Yes, I am able to accommodate special songs for your event. However, it is important that you inform me of any specific songs you want in advance, as I am unable to stream them on the day itself. Feel free to curate playlists of your favorite songs and share them with me at least one week before your event. This way, I can ensure that your preferred music is prepared and included in the playlist for your special day.
✛ Do you bring your own food?
Best practice is to cater for the vendors, especially in the case of a wedding where I am performing all day. I always appreciate it but ultimately it's up to you.
✛ Do we have to include you in the seating plan?
Sometimes we are included in the seating plans but most often we are given a designated area to eat. This is better for us as it gives us a chance to get vocal rest in between sets so I can deliver my best performance.
✛ How far do you travel?
I travel all over New Zealand and even to Australia. Travel, accomodation and gear hire costs will be additional to the performance fee.
